Endangered Species

Endangered species and species of conservation concern are a major focal point of many large-scale species recovery, ecosystem restoration, and ecosystem management programs. These species often drive habitat management decision making, placing species-related learning at a premium. Implementation and analysis of species monitoring is often a challenging endeavor, especially when dealing with highly endangered species due to the precautions necessary and the small numbers of individuals involved. We successfully work with some of the most highly-endangered species on Earth.
Our core competencies include:
  • Design and implementation of conservation monitoring protocols for endangered species include ground and aerial surveys
  • Field and remote monitoring of habitats used by priority species
  • Resource selection analyses to support assessment of habitat management actions
  • Habitat suitability assessments
  • Integrated species population and habitat modeling in support of structured decision making to adjust management actions
